We love the 'sandblasted' and 'oxygen-sprayed' face of Renee Zellweger

As opposed to her Bridget Jones' character who is not a bit bothered of her plump, unattractive appearance, the radiant Renee Zellweger undergoes a meticulous beauty regimen to keep her skin glowing -- fit for the elite Hollywood A-listers.

A source close to the star was quoted by the Daily Mail, as saying "Renee may have perfect skin now but it hasn't always been that way."

Well any glamorous star knows better. Before every glitzy screen and gala calls, the Oscar-winning actress reportedly submits herself to a 60-minute 'microdermabuffing' session, described as 'sand-blasting for the face'. This rather strange biochemical facial routine is designed to rid the skin of any blemishes, resulting to a healthy-looking, luminous skin.

Alternately, Renee also avails of the two-hour 'triple oxygen treatment', one of the most relaxing of skin treatments wherein a person simply has to lie supine for two hours while gas is sprayed onto the face. Two sheets of pre-extraction oxygen cling film are wrapped around the person’s forehead, chin and cheeks, to open up the pores -- leaving only the nose exposed - to help activate the oxygen and milk face mask underneath.

When the film wrap is removed, the therapist takes time to squeeze out any blackheads or pustules. The scrubbed face, to include the neck area, is then sprayed with vitaminized oxygen, containing vitamins A, C and E.

There is a lot of science behind the ‘sandblasting’ and 'oxygen treatment' techniques to suggest that they work. And, no doubt, Renee is convinced that they do. And it shows in her smooth, baby-soft complexion nowadays.
