Whether we like it or not, aging takes its toll on our face and bodies sooner than we would expect. Shannon Tweed will celebrate her 50th birthday this week. Both her and her partner, Gene Simmons of KISS, are going to go ahead with facelift surgery on their TV reality show "Gene Simmons Family Jewels."

Alternatives to facelift surgery are botox injections and dermal fillers. Many women are drawn to these new procedures because they are less invasive and they deliver the results fast. The only drawback is that the results don’t last longer than those delivered by more invasive procedures like facelift.
