Shakira – lighting trick or nose job?

Shakira has made a name for herself in the music industry with songs like “Underneath Your Clothes”, “Hips Don’t Lie”, and “Objection Tango.” Her recent single “Breasts Like Mountains” has also gained some massive support from the public.

Shakira looks fantastic in all of her videos. But many are speculating that though Shakira’s look is pretty fine to behold, there’s something about her current appearance that makes everyone wonder if she has turned to plastic surgery in the past.

However, the 30-year old Colombian pop singer denied allegations of her having plastic surgery. She admitted though that she was previously flirting with the idea of going under the knife on more than one occasion. She liked to have a breast augmentation and lip enhancement. But that was before, and now, she has made up her mind not to have as of the moment.

Shakira said: “A few years ago, I considered (plastic) surgery, breast augmentation, and all kinds of things. Maybe my eyebrows should be higher. Maybe my lips should be bigger. It was really making me bitter. I’d think I’m not going to look good for my fans! But eventually I said, “Forget it” and I started accepting myself the way I am and realized that I’m just not perfect.”

A dramatic improvement in Shakira’s appearance can be seen through her old photos since her 1991 music debut. There is something different in the way Shakira’s nose looked before compared to her current nose. In older photos, Shakira’s nose had a wider bridge and a more bulbous tip. Her current photos reveal the opposite: her nose has a slimmer bridge a narrower tip. The current nose is a more refined version of the older one, which helped a lot in creating a more feminine appeal. Whether this is a lighting trick, makeup, or a surgical nose job, nobody knows for sure.

The sure thing though is that the slimming of Shakira’s nose greatly improved her facial appearance. It looks very natural and has emphasized all her best facial features.
