Katie Couric got Botox

Katie Couric is one hell of a dashing lady. She graces the CBS Evening News with her lovely facial features and many men sure are pleased to see one pretty face delivering the news - no matter how bad they can be.

However, some folks have noticed that Katie’s looks have changed dramatically. She even looks unusual lately. It seems that her eyes and eyebrows look quite funny.

Dr. Youn pointed out that the broadcaster’s forehead doesn’t move every time she talks. He also added that her forehead is more arched, and she has an almost angry appearance. He got these observations from comparing two video clips of Katie Couric doing a news report. The older video shows Couric elevating her eyebrows and creating some wrinkles in her forehead. However, those wrinkles are completely gone in the recent video clip.

I believe that this recent change is due to what I call the "Botox Brow." Botox can be injected into the forehead and between the eyebrows to remove wrinkles there. While it is very effective in doing this, it can create a side effect of an overly arched eyebrow which can make the person look angry, or sinister. The look does seem to diminish with time. I think she looks better without the Botox.

In the recent photos of Katie, she does look like she has had Botox. The effect though is not so much on the favorable side since she obviously looked better before this makeover.
