George Clooney appears to have had plastic surgery
George Clooney was looking good at Cannes just recently. And this prompted rumors that the 45-year-old actor may have had plastic surgery in order to get rid of his ‘tired’ look.
It should be noted that Clooney said in a television interview with Julia Roberts last February that he had his eyes done in order to look better.
“I had my eyes done. Can you tell? I think it’s important to look awake,” said Clooney in the interview.
When people saw Clooney dramatically refreshed look at Cannes, many think that Clooney’s previous statements may be true after all.
The actor does not deny the allegation that he had an eyelift. In fact, he is doing all he can to somehow support the claim. Don Cheadle, Clooney’s co-star in Ocean’s 13, joked with the actor at a promotional event at Cannes that Clooney “only had one eye done” to which Clooney replied, “I figured I wanted to try it first. Give it a test run.”
Whether Clooney is telling the truth or not, his remarkable appearance is doing all the talking as of the moment. Clooney no longer has under-eye bags and his eyes are more open than before. He appears to have had a full blepharoplasty on both his upper and lower eyelids. Also, the actor’s crows feet lines from the corner of his eyes look less pronounced. He might have had that injected with Botox or Restylane in order to make the lines appear softer.
George Clooney has successfully avoided the surprised look that can occur in a bad eyelid surgery. The actor still looks the same, only better.
