Gene Simmons gets a facelift

Gene Simmons and long time companion Shannon Tweed have agreed to get a facelift for the second season of A&E’s half-hour reality series “Gene Simmons Family Jewels.” Gene’s post-surgery picture has already been out and you can get to see the first brutal image of him minutes after doctors performed the procedure by clicking here.

Simmons had a facelift and liposuction surgery and these procedures are set to be aired on two April 1 episodes. He told USA Today that their decision to go for dual facelift was just sort of unplanned.

"Honest to God, it just sort of happened”, Gene Simmons told the press.

He also stressed that what you will see on TV is like a biology class. The procedure will be fascinating than gory. Though that still remains to be seen, with all the cuts and blood involve.

Looking at the picture, Gene appears to have his upper and lower eyelids done. The puffiness gave that away. He also seems to have had a lower facelift. The eyelid swelling is a bit excessive although men are known to swell a lot.

The procedure is expected to produce great results for Gene. He will be rocking and rolling in due time after the wounds heal and the swelling subsides.
