Breast reduction results very satisfactory

According to Consultant plastic surgeon Dr. Purmina Ayer, many women who have undergone breast reduction surgery are ‘extremely satisfied’ with the results. Breast reduction surgery is the fifth most popular plastic surgery procedure in 2006 according to the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Ayer told Sri Lanka’s Sunday Times that going under the knife is one of the best options out there for women who are suffering from macromastia or abnormally large breasts.

Women with macromastia complain about the discomfort brought about by the condition. While other women would kill for large breasts, those who actually have them suffer from back pains among other things.

Ayer explained that while women with abnormally large breasts could find that their physical and mental health improved after undergoing the breast reduction procedure.

Also, many women feel that though breast reduction surgery carries risks and complications, it is well worth the risk. Ayer added that most of the women who have had their breasts reduced are extremely satisfied with the results they got.

Women can enjoy the renewed confidence and a boost to their mental and physical health because of the changed physical appearance. Moreover, the discomfort brought about by macromastia were gotten rid of.
