Bono had lower eyelid surgery

Bono, the lead singer of U2, has been spotted at a New York event without his trademark sunglasses; revealing a remarkably fresh-faced and wrinkle-free look. Add to that the absence of eye bags, it is not surprising at all that folks who saw the artist’s amazing look to conclude that he had plastic surgery, specifically blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery for his eyes and Botox injections to smooth his wrinkles.

UK-based plastic surgeon Dr. Lucy Glancey made some noteworthy observations:

“I definitely think Bono has had lower blepharoplasty - lower eyelid surgery - which the plaster covered up back in December. He probably had quite a bit of bruising under the eye at this time - sometimes you get no bruising after surgery, sometimes you get bruising under just one eye, giving what looks like a black eye,” added Dr. Glancey.

“A proper black eye could take up to six weeks to heal, on top of slight scarring, which would explain why Bono has remained hidden under sunglasses until now,” add Dr. Glancey.

The singer’s ravishing complexion also suggests that he had some Botox or Restylane injections. He may also have gotten some chemical peels. Dr. Glancey confirmed this saying that he must have had Botox to lift his brows because there is still a skin overhang in this area which wouldn’t be there if he had an upper blepharoplasty.

Whether all these procedures were actually done, Bono is sure looking good and those makeovers were not overdone in anyway. He now has more reasons to take those sunglasses off his face and let the world see his newfound youth.
