Angelina Jolie’s beauty is a gold standard in plastic surgery

It isn’t surprising at all to know that Angelina Jolie’s beauty stand out among Hollywood actresses. She has the most gorgeous lips, the best eyes and the nicest check bones. And rightly so, women from all walks of life are willing to go under the knife just to have Jolie’s facial features.

This is the reason why plastic surgeons consider Angelina Jolie as the standard of beauty among women seeking cosmetic surgery. She has the most requested look. Her exaggerated, almost cartoonish lips have always been desired by women wanting a nip and tuck. And this is not about to change. In fact, the exotic look is here to stay and Jolie is the embodiment of that.

Professor Ava Shamban, a UCLA academic and practicing specialist who has appeared on the chat sow Oprah and the reality TV series Extreme Makeover, stressed that good-looking people marry more, marry better, earn more and are assisted more readily by strangers. Even studies have shown that babies prefer to look at attractive faces. Cosmetic surgery, fortunately, has allowed people to hold onto their beauty for longer. However, Shamban warned surgeons to take their role seriously.

Surgeons must consider the fact that features like Angelina’s won’t fit every face and it is then the surgeon’s responsibility to take care with that.

Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery president Michael Zacharia also noticed the trend, saying that requests for Jolie’s looks were becoming increasingly frequent. He also said that the trend was probably aided by the growth in non-surgical treatments such as Botox and other dermal fillers.
