Julian McMahon is Dr. Christian Troy, a charismatic, attractive, and unchaste surgeon/founding partner at McNamara/Troy, South Beach’s most successful plastic surgery practice. He started the practice with his best friend, Dr. Sean McNamara and the word is still out on whether going into business with his best friend was a good idea. He was unfortunately proverbially “left at the altar” when she was kidnapped and attacked by “The Carver,” the serial rapist who tortures his victims via inhumane “plastic surgery” procedures. Christian still wanted to be with Kimber after the ordeal, but the feeling did not remain mutual. This season it seems Christian will be faced with a new slew of psychological challenges, go face to face with some new femmes fatales and one unexpected shower encounter with a hunky male.

Migraine suffers who were treated surgically experienced a statistically-significant decrease in frequency and intensity of migraine headaches, as compared to the placebo group.

Health Canada has granted licenses to two U.S. companies, Mentor Corp. and Inamed Corp., a unit of Allergan Inc. to market their implants in Canada, following conditional approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Under the conditions set by Health Canada the manufacturers must continue to provide data for at least 10 years from an ongoing clinical trial and must also agree to launch another large and long-term study, involving tens of thousands of women in Canada and elsewhere, to see if there are rare side-effects that would only become apparent once large numbers of women have received the devices.
